English case law is more sparse, but the English courts have similarly suggested that “subjective recklessness” can satisfy the intent element of intentional torts. See Wilson v. Pringle [1987] QB 237; Iqbal v. Prison Officers Ass’n [2009] EWCA (Civ) 1312, [2010] QB 732.
